Iskar Ranch´s hunt reservation is 4.000 ha in size and is situated on Bulgarias largest reservoir (20 km). Riders will take pleasure in the many riding options. Red and Fallow deer, wild boar and mouflon can be observed on horseback in this area open to the public. You can design your day as you wish, riding either with a guide or on your own. Swim-outings, sailing and windsurfing make a stay at the Iskar-Ranch attractive for non-riders as well.

Riding itinerary:
On your first day you will be taken on a guided tour to get to know the surroundings and riding alternatives. After having chosen “your” horse for the whole week (changes possible) you will be allowed to go on trips any time you like and create your individual agenda. Of course guided tours can still be requested.

There are two small swimming lakes on the terrain. The most distant cottage is a 3-hour ride away to the border of the fenced-in ranch. No cars, no hikers, no fences and no restrictions on the premises will limit the fun of riding through forests and fields. Pay a surcharge and we will transport your horse to the Rila mountains (approx. 1 hour) where an expert guide will lead you on a ½ day tour of the Balkan canyons.
Usually the horses are 10-15 minutes away from the ranch and there are constant transfers to and from the stables. But in summer the horses are often kept close to the ranch.

Accomodation and Food:
The Riding holiday is based on 7 nights on full board. You will be living in a heated, modern and comfortable log cabin about 800 m from the Iskar reservoir. There are 4 double bedrooms with en suite shower/WC, a living-room area with a fireplace and a bar.

Included in the price: accommodation on full board; pick up/drop off at Sofia or Plovdiv airport.
